How to enable Caller ID in the mobile app

Enable Medicasimple Caller ID on a clinic phone, set Medicasimple as the default caller ID app, and sync patient names to the device.

Caller ID shows the patient name on the clinic phone when a saved patient calls.

1. Open Caller ID in Medicasimple

In the Medicasimple mobile app, go to SettingsCommunication SettingsCaller ID.

Start from Settings.

Open Caller ID from Communication Settings.

2. Turn it on in phone settings

iPhone: Open iPhone SettingsPhoneCall Blocking & Identification, then turn on Medicasimple.

Android: Open Android SettingsAppsDefault appsCaller ID & spam app, then choose Medicasimple. The wording can vary by Android model.

Enable Medicasimple from the phone settings.

3. Sync patient names

Return to Medicasimple and tap Sync now.

Sync patient names after turning Caller ID on.

After this, incoming calls from synced patients can appear with the patient name on the clinic phone.
