How can we prevent one staff member from checking in for another?

Each staff member uses their own Medicasimple account. Device information and device ID are visible to managers, helping them notice suspicious usage such as the same device appearing across different accounts.

Does Medicasimple track staff GPS all day?

No. Medicasimple does not continuously track staff on a map. Staff attendance uses clinic Wi-Fi, fixed IP, and device information around the attendance action.

Yes. Users with admin permission can edit, add, approve, or correct forgotten or incorrect attendance records.

What report can we get at month end?

Managers can report staff check-in and check-out times, total working time, exceptions, overtime, check-in/check-out IP details, device details, and off-Wi-Fi check-outs. The attendance output can support payroll or accounting workflows.

Does it work across multiple branches?

Yes. When each branch fixed IP is defined in Medicasimple, managers can see which branch Wi-Fi was used for a staff member’s check-in.

What if we do not want staff on the main clinic Wi-Fi?

You can create a separate staff Wi-Fi network. Staff connect to that network for check-in while the clinic’s main network remains separate.
