🚀 New Features

🎉 Patient Portal: Your Clinic’s Digital Front Door

The Patient Portal is now live. It brings all patient interactions into a single, centralized hub. You can create a dedicated portal address for your clinic and securely invite patients via SMS or email.

Through the Patient Portal, patients can book and cancel appointments, view their treatment history, track invoices and balances, make online payments, review documents, and complete forms digitally. All of these actions are fully controlled by the clinic through detailed permission settings.

What does this bring?

Your team’s workload is significantly reduced, phone calls and WhatsApp traffic decrease, collections are accelerated, appointment management becomes more automated, and patient satisfaction increases noticeably. By offering a modern and professional digital experience, your clinic strengthens patient loyalty.

🎉 App Store: Make Your Clinic Modular

Medicasimple now includes its own App Store. From this screen, you can view purchasable add-ons and upcoming modules in one place and expand your clinic based on your needs.

Each add-on has its own detail page, clearly explaining what it does, how it works, the benefits it provides, pricing information, and any available trial period.

What does this bring?

Instead of a fixed, all-in-one software, clinics can now use a modular platform that grows with their needs. You avoid paying for unnecessary features and activate only the modules you require. Product investment becomes more controlled, cost management more transparent, and growth strategies far more flexible.


🎉 Inventory VAT Management

You can now define a VAT rate for inventory items. The unit price field in the inventory screen represents the VAT-inclusive price, consistent with the rest of the system. The defined VAT rate is used as a reference in transaction records based on this price.

This reduces the need for manual VAT tracking during stock entries and exits. For finance teams, product-level control becomes more structured, and the risk of operational errors in tax-related processes is reduced.


🎉 Patient Data Backup Screen Updated

The patient data backup screen has been updated. With the new structure, data export and backup processes are now managed in a more secure, transparent, and auditable way.


✨ Improvements

✨ Treatment External System ID Visibility

When editing a treatment, the related external system ID is now displayed directly on the screen, if available. This improvement makes it easier for clinics working with external systems to verify integrations.

You can clearly see which treatment is linked to which external system from a single screen, simplifying tracking and support processes.


✨ Email Infrastructure Renewed

System emails sent by Medicasimple, such as password resets, user verification, subscription notifications, and form notifications, have been renewed with updated designs and an improved infrastructure.


✨ Date Range Selection in the Daily Monitoring Report

You can now select a specific date range in the Daily Monitoring Report. This allows you to review and compare data across custom time periods, rather than being limited to a single day.


✨ Smart Action Buttons on Empty Screens

Context-aware action buttons have been added to empty states across the application where “no results found” is displayed.

Examples include Tasks, Treatment Plans, Patient Payments, Recall, Laboratory, Inventory, and Accounts.

With this improvement, especially for new team members, users no longer need to guess what to do when they encounter an empty screen. The system clearly guides them to the next step. This speeds up onboarding, reduces training needs, and helps teams become productive with Medicasimple much faster.


✨ Creation Timestamp for Custom Forms

A creation timestamp has been added to forms, making it clear when each form was created and enabling more organized and reliable form tracking.


🛠️ Fixes

🛠️ Throughout the month, numerous issues affecting performance, stability, and user experience were resolved.

🛠️ The issue where stock–treatment mappings could not be deleted has been fixed.

🛠️ Web and mobile notification infrastructures have been unified into a single system, ensuring a more consistent notification experience across platforms. Additionally, when users have granted notification permissions, mobile notifications can now also be received via the browser.
