In June, we released updates across consent, prescriptions, treatment management, reporting, payments, and mobile workflows. The focus this month was helping clinic teams manage daily operations with clearer controls, stronger visibility, and more flexible workflows.

🎉 Prescriptions and Drug Catalog

New infrastructure has been added for creating prescriptions and searching the drug catalog inside Medicasimple. Prescriptions can be created and listed from the patient record.

The new structure supports prescription items, drug catalog search, and regular catalog updates, helping clinic teams manage prescription workflows in a more central and trackable way.

🎉 Clinic-Based Treatment Categories

Clinics can now create custom treatment categories and connect treatments to those categories. Category creation, editing, deletion, and treatment matching can be managed per clinic.

This helps each clinic organize its treatment list in a way that better matches its own operating model.

Privacy and consent forms now support different approval methods. Clinics can manage consent workflows more flexibly based on the form type and the way the practice operates.

🎉 Doctor-Based Discount Filtering

Treatment discount workflows now support filtering by doctor. This makes it easier for clinics working with multiple clinicians to find and apply the right discount options faster.

🎉 WhatsApp Communication Permission

WhatsApp permission has been added to patient communication preferences. Teams can manage WhatsApp permission separately from SMS permission on the patient edit screen.

Consent forms collected with signature can now be opened in a new tab, making it easier to review the form with the patient or complete the signing flow on a separate screen.

✨ Required Stock Exit Direction

Stock exit direction is now required during stock-out operations, helping teams keep stock movement records clearer and more consistent.

✨ Online Booking Experience

Online booking flows and patient redirection have been improved, including a more consistent portal experience for existing patients.

✨ Payment Updates Page

The Payment Updates page has been reworked so clinic teams can review payment movements and related updates more clearly.

✨ Reporting Improvements

A pie chart view has been added to the completed treatment report. Recall statistics, doctor-level patient acceptance reporting, and appointment occupancy reporting have also been improved.

The daily closing Excel export now includes a balance column, helping clinics review patient balances more easily across different clinic and currency scenarios.

✨ Media Data Transfer

Patient and clinic media transfer processes have been improved for practices moving to Medicasimple.

✨ Activity Flow Tracking

Session date changes are now written to the patient activity flow, making it easier for teams to follow appointment and session history.

✨ Mobile Improvements

Mobile commission reports have been aligned more closely with the desktop structure. The home screen appointment area now includes a See all today button, and dynamic treatment categories are reflected more consistently in mobile treatment workflows.
