The Accounting Module in Medicasimple provides a unified view of your clinic’s financial activity, enabling precise monitoring of income, expenses, and balances across all departments and users.

It’s designed to help your team maintain accurate, audit-ready records while simplifying daily financial workflows.


What You Can Do

  • Record and review all payments, refunds, and expenses in one place.

  • View detailed income and expense reports by doctor, department, or payment type.

  • Filter transactions by date range, currency, or payment channel.

  • Export financial data for external accounting tools or audits.

  • Track outstanding balances and ensure all collections are properly reconciled.


How It Works

You can access and manage all accounting data directly from Medicasimple’s Reports and Institution Settings sections:

  1. Go to “Reports → Financial Reports.”

    • View detailed breakdowns of clinic income, expenses, and balances.

    • You can filter financial reports by date range, doctor, department, or payment type.

    • Use these reports to monitor daily cash flow or monthly performance.

    • You can export data in Excel format for external bookkeeping or audits.

  2. Access detailed financial controls from “Settings → Institution Settings.”


Reports & Reconciliation

The Accounting Module automatically consolidates your transactions into daily, weekly, or monthly reports.
You can easily compare expected vs. received amounts, check outstanding balances, and ensure that all records match your POS or bank statements.


Notes & Best Practices

  • Always verify that daily cash totals match your Accounting dashboard at the end of the day.

  • Assign financial permissions carefully to control who can edit or export data.

  • Use consistent payment type and currency settings for accurate reporting.

  • Schedule monthly exports for audits or tax filings.
