Can I add notes to a booking?

Yes. Appointment notes are saved to the task management system, not as plain text inside the appointment. This keeps notes searchable and persistent.

How does the system calculate appointment times?

It uses the specific duration set for each appointment type. A cleaning might be 30 minutes while an implant consult is 60.

Why do some appointments show different default times?

Treatment-specific durations override the general default. This is set in your calendar settings per appointment type.

Can I see all providers on one screen?

Yes. The day view shows all providers side by side. You can compare availability and workload at a glance.

Can I see who changed an appointment?

Yes. The activity log shows the staff member, the action taken, and the exact timestamp for every change.

Is historical data safe if I remove an appointment type?

Deleting appointment types can affect historical reports. We recommend deactivating unused types instead of deleting them.

Does this work with recurring appointments?

Yes. Recurring appointments use weekly interval logic. You set the frequency, select the days, and define the total visit count. Each recurring visit appears on the calendar and feeds into your analytics.

Can I limit staff access to reports?

Yes. Role-based permissions control who sees financial data, operational reports, and patient details.

Is this system only for the front desk?
