Automated Appointment Reminders help clinics prevent no-shows and last-minute cancellations by automatically notifying patients before their appointments.
These reminders are sent through SMS, WhatsApp, or Email, making sure patients always remember their visit and arrive on time.

How It Works

1. Go to Main Menu → SMS Settings → SMS Automation

2. Enable the "Appointment Reminder" toggle.

3. Set the sending time in Hours; for example, entering 24 means reminders will be sent exactly 24 hours before the appointment.

4. Set the Minutes field to define a safety limit.

   • This determines the minimum time before an appointment for which reminders should not be sent.

   • For example, if you enter 30 minutes, any appointment created less than 30 minutes before its start time will not trigger the automation.

5. Click "Edit Templates" to customize your message (clinic name, address, confirmation link, etc.).

6. Save your settings; Medicasimple will now automatically send reminders 24 hours before appointments, except for those booked last minute (within the time you set in minutes).
